Other than using adsense, you could also earn some money by referrals. There are 3 types of referrals with google : adsense, adwords, adn firefox with google toolbar. My favorite is firefox with google toolbar, because everyone needs it cause it is a good software with a very helpful google toolbar.

Many said that one of the way to increase traffic to your blogs is to register to blog portal such as technocrati and others. So I try this way, you could do it also by visiting to http://technocrati.com and they will ask you to register first and then embed the html code to your post, as I do it on top of this email. Let see how it works.

Traffic - Submit Your Site

Today I am trying to submit my site to 2 search engines hoping that I could get traffic from people searching on certain topics from their site. First, it is Yahoo, you could easily suggest a site on http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html and entering your URL or Feed and they will crawl to your site maybe in a week. My http://buku-elektronik.blogspot.com has now been listed on Yahoo, about one week after I submit it. The second is of course Google, you could add your URL to Google on http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl .

It is already my second week with AdSense, how much do I got now, only US$ 0,35. But I think I dont do anything with my blogs from the time I submit my previous post. Like Joel Comm explained before, making money from blogs is not difficult, but it needs time. We need to build content, we need to submit post, we need to present something usefull to our readers. When the readers think that our blog is resourcefull, they will come back at least once in a while to see if they can find something new from your blogs. Joel Comm says, dont focus on the ads, focus on building your content. Make your reader always wondering what you will submit tomorrow. We cannot be rich from AdSense like Joel Comm just in a day, we need strong and long term commitment.

I have try to do a little research on the adsense and always have this one name come up on my browser, Joel Comm. Who is he ? He is one of the best in how to make money with adsense and I take a little story about him self on his website as below

My First Week with AdSense

This is my first week with adsense, and I will start to share everything I do with my blogs and how it turns out. I earned my first US$ 0,12 on the third day, yes it is small, but at least I knew I can make money from it. I will let you know more when I receive my first check from AdSense (wish me luck). I have some trouble later on on my 4th day, when I check my blogs http://buku-elektronik.blogspot.com I found that my blogs have no other ads beside this big Public Service Announcement (PSA) ads on it. Try to figure it out a couple days and found that it is because I write my blogs in Indonesian Language which also explain by AdSense on their help, that it could blocked the Ads on my blogs. That is why I write this journey also in English, please forgive my English. The reason I want create this blog, is so I can have my written journey and share the journey experience with other and of course receive advice from others. Thanks
